CLI is a community based grants round which will provide support to establish sustainable partnerships between non government organisations, local government, sporting groups, police and interested parties to work together to develop local solutions for youth binge drinking within their own community.

The development of the guidelines has been undertaken by Flinders Consulting under the direction of a reference group with extensive experience in the drug and alcohol field and health service provision to Indigenous Australians. Professor Charlotte de Crespigny will be presenting a series of workshops relating to the use of the guidelines.

Community Level Initiative
As part of the National Binge Drinking Strategy community groups and organisations are invited to apply for the Community Level Initiative (CLI) community based grants round. Alcohol Treatment Guidelines for Indigenous Australians
The Alcohol Treatment Guidelines for Indigenous Australians and associated resources are being developed to provide an evidence-based, user friendly resource to assist health professionals manage alcohol problems experienced by their Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.The development of the guidelines has been undertaken by Flinders Consulting under the direction of a reference group with extensive experience in the drug and alcohol field and health service provision to Indigenous Australians.
